Bea and Hans headed stateside for a couple of weeks to see the grandparents and explore the countryside. The first few days after arrival were spent visiting local artists and galleries, fixing up the old Ritchey, and enjoying the local fare including in-season cherries and apricots, and of course Reuben sandwiches.
