During mellandagarna ("the between days") we opened presents in the cabin, took walks in the modest snow, and had a quick day trip to the city to meet the Nowlins who were in town for consular business.
Bea's new Ipad was the big surprise.
It was really cold a few days there.
We met the Nowlins at Nordiska, and then went to Skansen, where we saw how Christmas used to be celebrated in the coutryside outside of Falkenberg:
As a parting gift from employment at Skansen, Hans bought this sconce for Madeleine and a Gränsfors axe for himself.
