The Nowlins had planned on a trip to the States this summer, but traded in plane tickets for a big rental van and are tooling around Sweden instead. They spent five nights at Tullgarn, in the neighboring barn.
Lucy was overjoyed to play with Gaspard.
On Thursday Emilie's brother Joel came down for a visit from Uppsala, and we went mushrooming in the woods.

Saturday brought a day of rain, so we hit up some flea markets and had lunch at a cafe in Gnesta.
We found a little hanging cupboard, and Matt found himself a hat.

The weather's been unstable for the last week or so, with massive showers punctured by sun and calm. Looking ahead we're in for some more pleasant days.
