We celebrated Madeleine's birthday at the stuga with presents:
And a woodfire-baked cake.
On Saturday we laid out a garden plot using primitive surveying tools...
...and built a simple fence from found materials.
Over 100 stakes were made from this salvaged wood spaced at two foot intervals and filled with branch.
It snowed a bit. Hopefully for the last time.
Friends from the Scouts Nina and Ellis visited with daughter Svea.
