So now that we own a car again:
We decided on Saturday to head to the cabin with a small load of furnishings. But once there we discovered, to our dismay, that we had forgotten the key. We left our load on the porch and then picked up an oak chest we had reserved at a flea market, and headed home.
The chest has three locks, but only a key for one of them. Fortunately one lock was not engaged. We managed to dislodge the one keeping the chest closed, knocked out the hinge pins and looked inside. Indeed, the offending key was right inside, along with a pair of milkmaid yokes.
On Sunday we took the chest back out to Tullgarn. It's huge: as you can see it fills the space not occupied by passengers.
In situ.
We made pizza with dough we prepared at home.
And took a walk in the slush.
