October 1 was IMBA's Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day, so we loaded bikes on the roof of the car and headed to Tyresta, where Bea's Scout troop has a camp.
We rode a couple of kilometers in.
Madeleine started a fire...
...while Bea whittled some sticks for roasting hot dogs.
We walked over to look at the beaver lodge...
...and then rode back to the car.
