Skokloster Slott

Since we'll probably be without a car for awhile we decided to visit Skokloster castle, about an hour north of us, while we could. It's an amazing baroque castle dating from the mid 1600s that was never completed and has been in no way modernized during the past 500 years.

This would have been an amazing banquet hall, but has been left as a construction site, complete with tools and working spaces.

Amazing interior details, such as this, the world's oldest surviving glass chandelier.

Outside this motorcycle was parked in front of this service building, looking just too cool.
